The Refinery’s owner, Nick, approached us wanting support with his Facebook marketing. Nick reported that he was failing to gain traction and organic reach through creating his own content and boosted posts. He wanted to outsource his marketing, as he believed that his time was better spent working on designing and making beautiful jewellery, rather than trying to manage his Facebook page.
We manage and create The Refinery’s content – posting on social media and running Facebook Ads. We started by regularly posting relevant content that showcased the pieces Nick created.
Facebook works off an algorithm, which controls the order and presentation of posts. Rather than display content chronologically, posts are presented based on what Facebook’s algorithm determines as most relevant to the user. Over recent years, with more and more businesses saturating the platform, organic reach has become less effective. That’s why we recommended the use of paid posts and ads – to increase reach.
Using Facebook ads ensures The Refinery’s content would be seen by more of the right people, and ultimately, drive more traffic to the website and customers in-store.
Prior to our campaign, The Refinery’s organic posts were reaching 200 – 500 people per post, with clicks averaging at 25 per post. After our paid ad campaign and content services, the average reach for each post is 3,500 impressions with between 150 – 400 engagements per post. Page followers have also increased by 30%
